A Note of Thanks at the End of a Defining Year
A brief pause to reflect on what 2025 changed for data centers and to thank the global community that made this work matter.
Dear Friends,
This isn’t my usual Global Data Center Hub post. That will land shortly to properly close out the year.
I know you have better things to do over the holidays than read another deep dive on AI infrastructure, power constraints, or capital flows.
This is simply a note of thanks.
As I write this, Global Data Center Hub has grown from a side project into something far more meaningful:
21,667 followers on LinkedIn
11,367 subscribers to the LinkedIn newsletter
4,512 subscribers on Substack
Over 5 million views on LinkedIn
A consistent 40% open rate.
More importantly, it has become a daily dialogue with investors, operators, policymakers, and builders across the global data center ecosystem.
That still gives me pause.
2025 transformed data centers from quiet real assets into strategic powerhouses. Land, grids, chips, capital, and sovereignty now define them not just as backend infrastructure, but as economic and geopolitical engines.
That shift has made this work both harder and more important.
Announcements, investments, policies, and tech shifts are happening relentlessly.
Turning this complexity into clear, decision-grade insight linking developments across regions is a far cry from when I first started writing. I miss things. Sometimes I leave stories out deliberately. That comes with the territory.
I keep writing because of the response.
The real proof this work matters is in the messages, replies, and DMs from people who avoided mistakes or saw opportunities more clearly. Global Data Center Hub exists to help serious professionals think clearly and hearing it works is what sustains it.
I still edit this content myself. Every day. The discipline forces me to learn continuously, stay intellectually honest, and keep pace with a sector that refuses to slow down. It sharpens my own thinking as an investor and operator, and I hope that rigor shows up in the work.
That’s all I wanted to say.
Thank you for reading, sharing, subscribing, and engaging throughout 2025. Thank you for trusting me with your attention.
We’ll see what 2026 brings. Something tells me it will be louder, faster, and even more consequential.
For now, I’m stepping back to spend time with my family.
The real “why” behind everything.
Wishing you and yours a peaceful Christmas and a strong start to the new year.
